About This Beach
Holloway's Marina & RV Park is a full-service lakefront destination in the Metcalf Bay area on the north shore. While primarily a marina and RV park, Holloway's offers beach access and swimming for guests and visitors. The facility sits right on the water, providing beautiful lake views and easy access to Big Bear Lake's crystal-clear waters. The marina offers jet ski rentals (1-3 seats), fishing pontoon boats, luxury pontoons, kayaks, and SUPs. Fishing charters and waterski lessons are available, and the unique Time Bandit Pirate Ship offers lake cruises. Two convenient stores stock fishing tackle, live worms, snacks, candy, beer, and wine. The public fuel dock offers premium, mixed, and regular fuel. The RV park features 100+ sites with some offering full hookups, picnic tables, playground, and clean heated restroom buildings with hot showers. Additional amenities include laundry, propane, and dry storage for 10 boats. The beach offers a more intimate, less crowded swimming experience without lifeguard supervision.

Yes. Holloway's has beach access and swimming in the Metcalf Bay area, and it is a more intimate, less crowded swim than the public parks. There is no lifeguard supervision. Big Bear Municipal Water District rules require swimmers to stay within 50 feet of shore or 20 feet of a private dock.
