Buttercup Group Camp

USDA Forest Service 6900 ft elevation

Buttercup Group Camp is a single reservable group site on the south side of Big Bear Lake near Pineknot Campground and Snow Summit. Unlike Tanglewood, it has drinking water on site and is located close to Big Bear Village and skiing terrain, making it a convenient choice for groups who want proximity to town amenities. The site accommodates up to 40 people and must be reserved in advance through Recreation.gov.
