The short answer

Overnight parking is not allowed in any public or Village lot in Big Bear Lake β€” those are dawn-to-dusk, and you risk a citation or tow. The resort upper lots are day-use only (RVs pay a flat $75 for the day, not to sleep). To legally stay overnight in a vehicle or RV, you have two routes: a private campground or RV park, or a National Forest dispersed / Yellow Post site (with a 14-day limit and the right permits).
