The short answer
Snow Summit's upper lots by the base lodge (880 Summit Boulevard) are paid, reservation-only in winter — about $25–$40 per regular vehicle ($75 oversized/RV), bought online at least a day ahead. There's no day-of parking, and the upper lots often fill by 7:30 AM on peak days. Park free at a remote lot (Sandalwood and others) and ride the free shuttle (~10 min) — Snow Summit is the closest resort to Sandalwood. Real-time status is in the Ikon Pass app. Summer parking is free.

🎿 Snow Summit vs. Bear Mountain
Both resorts run the same reserved-parking system and the same $25–$40 pricing, and one Premium Parking Pass covers both (plus Snow Valley). The practical difference is the free-shuttle ride: ~10 minutes to Snow Summit vs. ~20 minutes to Bear Mountain from Sandalwood.

Do you need a reservation to park at Snow Summit?
Yes for the paid upper lots — buy online at least one day ahead, since there is no day-of sale. The free remote lots reached by shuttle do not require a reservation.
