What's open in January

โ๏ธ Crowds & timing
The first week eases off after the New Year's rush, then Martin Luther King Jr. weekend (mid-January) is a major peak. Weekends are busy all month; mid-week is dramatically calmer.
- Ski TuesdayโThursday for the shortest lift lines and easiest parking.
- On snow days, expect chain control โ leave early and build in extra drive time.
- Reserve ski-resort parking the night before; upper lots fill by ~7:30 AM on weekends.
